STC Montreal

STC-Montreal is seeking volunteers to make this year’s technical publications and online communications competitions a success.

Between now and the end of November 2006, there are volunteer opportunities waiting to be filled:

• Publicizing the competitions
• Creating communications
• Recruiting judges
• Managing entries
• Planning and running judging events
• Recognizing competition winners

We need your organization and communications skills. Judges will be recruited in the fall.

Some of the tasks are ongoing; most are required only for specific steps in the competition process, and don’t require commitment over a long period.

All are opportunities to raise the profile of technical communications and the local technical writing community.
