Description du poste:
Sous la supervision du Directeur de produits et en collaboration avec les
équipes de projets, le candidat sera responsable de :

-Composer et maintenir la documentation technique de tous les produits
offerts par Distech Controls.
-Communiquer avec de département R&D afin de vérifier de l’information
concernant les produits.
-Procéder à des mises à jour périodiques afin de maintenir l’exactitude de
la documentation
-Faire les graphiques, schémas et diagrammes nécessaires à la
documentation
-Mettre sur pied des guides de mise en page et des standards de
documentation
-Revoir et éditer toute la documentation technique avant la distribution
-Créer la documentation nécessaire pour tous les nouveaux produits de la
compagnie
-Gérer les priorités de documentation
-Suggérer des améliorations dans le processus et la forme de documentation
-Toutes autres tâches connexes

Candidate Profile :
Distech Controls is looking for a skilled, self-motivated and efficient
person with a high learning capacity, a strong attention to details, and
that is result-oriented, autonomous and proactive. The candidate has
demonstrated teamwork spirit and work ethic in previous experiences.

The candidate will rapidly integrate into the company and Product
Management Group and will contribute of improving its image using the
latest in hi-tech communication techniques.

Job Description :
Under direct supervision of the Products Director, and close collaboration
with R&D team, the candidate will be responsible for :

-Authoring and maintaining technical documentation of all the products
offered by Distech Controls such as User Guides, Hardware Installation
Guides, Product Data sheets, FAQs, Case Studies, and Technical
notes/papers
- Writing in order to satisfy internal writing requirements such as web
content, etc.
- Communicating with the R&D department to verify product information -
Performing periodical updates to maintain accuracy of documentation as
necessary
- Designing graphs, diagrams and schematics as needed for the documents -
Editing/reviewing documentation and usability aspects of the material -
Setting style guides, documentation standards, templates, and layout of
documents
- Providing quality assurance testing and analysis of documents
- Performing final review and editing of all technical systems
documentation before distribution
- Creating necessary documents for all new products released by the company
- Manage documentation priorities
- Suggest improvements and new documentation style
- Performing all tasks as delegated by superiors.
