TECHNICAL WRITER
iCongo, Inc. is a leading developer of cross-channel e-business systems
and software that enable companies to successfully run their mission
critical e-business operations. iCongo’s solutions include Cross-Channel
Retail E-Commerce, Business-to-Business E-Commerce and a comprehensive

iCongo’s professional staff works with our clients through all phases of a
project including design, implementation, training, ongoing support and
managed services. The company has a seasoned management and technology
team with years of enterprise software, supply chain systems and Internet
systems experience.
We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our
team of professionals. The selected candidate will be collaborating with
the Development, Quality assurance and professional services team in order
to develop the required documentation (external use).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
•Participate as a team member in responding to RFI’s and writing
proposals.
•Plan, design, develop, edit/review technical, training and user
documentation (spec sheets, white papers, manual guides, proposals,
training documents, web content, etc.) within timelines.
•Ensure that all material is user friendly, concise,
technically/functionally accurate.
•Be responsible for the quality of all technical documentation coming out
of iCongo to its customers.
•Create and maintain a documentation system that is simple and convenient
REQUIREMENTS
•University Degree, ideally in technical communication, business writing,
computer science and/or MIS.
•3-5 years experience in technical writing in a software development
organization (user guide, white papers, etc.).
•Experience with business writing and technical editing, with proven
documentation skills in terms of versioning, editing, content management,
etc.
•Past exposure to web based solutions and e-commerce platforms.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in both
languages is a plus (fluency in English is required).
•Experience with industry-standard authoring tools (ex. FrameMaker, MS
Word, HTML editors, Visio and on-line help creation tools, etc) as well as
HTML documents
•Excellent ability in understanding complex systems and explaining them in
a simple/logical manner.
•Efficient self-starter who will take ownership of the task at hand and
deliver the results within timelines.
•Persistent, flexible, rigorous, proactive and teamwork oriented.
