Job Description: Web writer

We are a company based in Montreal and currently looking for a technical writers with experience in the IT industry to create the content of the website. Our company is currently developing the website of our new branch which will provide hosting services to mid size company. This offer is for a contract to create the texts of our website. Later, A partial time job opportunity will be open to add value to our website by adding article relate to our industry once a week or twice a month. The candidate must be
able to seek new information about our industry and create article relate to it. The candidate might be invited to assist tradeshow or seminar relate to our industry to get new insight knowledge and information to create article.

Requirements:

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience and have a good understanding of the IT culture and language.
The candidate must have a minimum of knowledge with Search Engine
Optimization (SEO) or be able to create text with word balancing to optimize the ranking.
The candidate must have a good understanding of the hosting industry (dedicated server, datacenter services, virtualization services, cloud computing)
The candidate must be bilingual and be able to work with French coworker.

Being able to translate text from French to English or English to French would be an asset.
