Technical Writer

8D Technologies is looking for an experienced technical writer to fill a permanent position.

We are looking for candidates with good work ethics and who are meticulous in the quality of their work. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate initiative to collect the information needed for the documentation they will create.
We are looking for candidates proficient in both English (the majority of the documents are in English) and French.

Key job responsibilities
Collect the information needed to create the technical documentation Establish the structure of the documentation
Write technical documentation: user guides, design documents, procedure guides, etc.
Revise and update all the technical documentation

Technical requirements
Excellent command of French (both spoken and written)
Excellent command of English (both spoken and written)
Proven experience in creating technical documentation
Past experience in programming an asset
