Eight Step Editing

Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned editor, a would-be writer, or a business manager supervising others’ writing, this full-day workshop on November 18, 2009 will help you make your words work better.

This approach to editing uses a step-by-step process to identify the most common obstacles to readers’ understanding and shows you quick and simple techniques to fix them. By the end of the day, you’ll know to how to edit a piece of writing without rewriting and making the author’s life miserable.

Format: One-day interactive workshop. Presented in English.

Will you be leading another editing workshop in Montreal soon? I am very interested. If not, would you consider giving a private workshop?

    Thanks,
    Emily

We don’t have another editing workshop scheduled for Winter/Spring 2010. But there does seem to be interest in the subject, so the chapter may very well organize another for the 2010/2011 season. Best way to keep up to date is via the site’s RSS feed, or by subscribing the the event announcements via email.
