TEKsystems is currently looking for an experienced technical writing to join one of the largest consulting firm in a high visibility project of theirs. The client is currently improving and optimizing its internet &
intranet on SharePoint 2007.

Training materials are required for the different groups impacted. More specifically, the training specialist will:

*Work very closely with training team members and SMEs to develop content.
*Ensure that the training materials are in line with end user needs and stakeholder expectations
*Solicit feedback during the development cycle and make changes if necessary
*Grab French screenshots for the French version and adjust content as needed
*Review the French version of the documents and adjust content as needed
*Perform other activities as required by the project manager

Note: Translation will be performed by client’s internal translation group. The training specialist will not be required to translate the training materials.

Skills Required:
*Bilingual (English & French)
*Training development experience
*SharePoint content management system experience (a plus)

Responsibilities:
•Member of the team that produces documentation for Nuances Enterprise Speech tools products, including voice application development and tuning products and voice application hosting frameworks.
•May work on documentation for a variety of audiences, including

We are assisting our esteemed client in their search for a Copywriter for their downtown office.

The Copywriter is responsible for producing advertising and marketing copy solutions. The Copywriter works closely with project teams and clients to develop concepts and write effective copy that meets clients’ business objectives and maximizes the impact of each marketing message.

The Copywriter is also responsible for executing and understanding the copy editing function ensuring the grammatical, legal and factual accuracy in all copy when it is first delivered to designers/clients. The
Copywriter may also act as a proofreader when needed for all print, web and collateral materials.

Job Responsibilities:

•Write creative, effective copy for multiple projects at once, across a
variety of media.
• Develop creative concepts for campaigns and marketing pieces.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions with designers and project teams.
• Deliver complete, error-free copy formatted in standardized template, with all necessary legal language and registration marks.
• Work independently to execute assigned projects.
• Keep team members and managers informed of copy changes with regular project updates and revisions.
• Understand client business objectives and apply them to copy.
• Solicit copy feedback from clients and work closely with them to finalize copy.
• Develop and maintain all copy standards throughout project.
• Collaborate with team members.

Requirements:

• 5 years copywriting or agency experience.
• B.A or higher in English, Journalism or Communication Studies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Online technology.
• Excellent organizational, time management, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to meet short deadlines and work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management.

•Ability to adhere to a formal style guide and standardized templates
•Advanced experience using FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat & Distiller, Excel, and a graphics editing program, such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro
•Self-motivated and able to work independently
•Skilled at organizing information into clear, concise written form
•Strong working knowledge of editing, proofreading, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
