Description du rôle

Le rédacteur technique est responsable de la rédaction des guides
d’utilisation, de référence et d’entretien des différents logiciels de
Nakisa.

Responsabilités :
•Étude et recherche au sujet des logiciels de Nakisa afin d’avoir une
compréhension et une connaissance approfondie des produits.
•Indexer et effectuer la cross-référence de documents, dont les manuels.
•Préparation de la disposition du matériel pour les publications.
•Production ou modification d’illustrations, de diagrammes et de
photographies à inclure dans les publications.
•Préparation des ébauches de manuels pour révision avec le gestionnaire
avant la publication.

Exigences :
•Diplôme universitaire ou expérience de travail équivalente.
•Minimum de deux (2) ans d’expérience dans le domaine.
•Expérience pertinente dans la rédaction de documentation technique
destinée aux utilisateurs et administrateurs de logiciels.
•Connaissance des langages HTML et XML.
•Excellentes habiletés de communication orale et écrite, autant en
français qu’en anglais.
•Bonne compréhension des applications Web.

Job Description

•Study and research of Nakisa solution in order to gain an in-depth
understanding of the product.

•Prepare layout of materials for publications.

in the publications.

TECHNICAL WRITER

Description du poste:

Le rédacteur technique sera sous la supervision du directeur de la
formation, et travaillera en étroite collaboration les équipes de
développement de jeux.

Basé sur des informations recueillies d’experts en développement de jeux,
le rédacteur écrira de courts articles dont le but sera de former les
employés et nouvelles recrues sur un éventail de sujets reliés au jeu. Le
rédacteur travaillera aussi étroitement avec un illustrateur et un
intégrateur pour concevoir et développer des médias pour supporter le
contenu des articles.

Profil recherché:

Le candidat idéal sera un rédacteur technique compétent en anglais ou en
français, avec au moins deux années d’expérience.

Il sera autonome, motivé et autodidacte, et doit jouer régulièrement à des
jeux vidéo (préférablement sur console).

Comme le poste comprendra un peu de coordination, une expérience en gestion
d’équipes est un atout.

Les articles peuvent être écrits en français ou en anglais (le français

Title:

Technical Writer - videogames industry

Employer and position:

We are a large videogames company in Montreal, providing a highly dynamic
and creative work environment.

We are seeking a technical writer for a full-time position. This is a
three-month contract position, which can lead to permanent employment if
performance is satisfactory.

Job Description:

The technical writer will be under the supervision of the training
director, and work in close collaboration with game development staff.

Based on information gathered from key SMEs, the technical writer will
write short articles aimed at training employees and newcomers on a
variety of games-related topics. The technical writer will also work
closely with illustrators and integrators to develop audio-visual media to
support the content of the articles written.

They will perform final reviews and editing of the articles before
translation and distribution.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be a competent technical writer in either French
or English, and will have at least two years of experience.

They will be autonomous, self-motivated and quick to learn, and must be a
regular player of video games (preferably on consoles).

The position will involve some light coordination work, so some experience
in team management is an asset.

The articles may be written in French or English (the former is
preferred), but the individual should be bilingual.
