STC Competition Overview

Competition winner

The STC competition program encourages and recognizes excellence in online communication, technical art, and technical publications. STC offers two competition levels:

  • Local and regional competitions
  • International, Society-level competitions.

Local and regional competitions are the first level of competition. A local competition is held by a single chapter.

The STC International Online Communication Competition (IOCC), International Technical Art Competition (ITAC), and International Technical Publications Competition (ITPC) are the second and final level of competition. Only entries that receive an award of Distinguished Technical Communication (DTC) in a chapter or regional competition can be entered in the International competition.
