Preparing Entries for Submission
To submit an entry in the STC-Montreal documentation competitions, download the entry form.
- Official STC Competitions Entry Form (Word format)
Three copies of each entry must be submitted. Make four copies of the forms. Attach the entry fee to original form for each entry submitted. There must be a separate, completed entry form and fee for each entry submitted. Attach one copy of the enty form securely to each of the three copies of the entry. Keep the last copy of the forms for your records.
Note: If possible, please supply an additional copy of your entry and entry form to ensure that a copy is available for presentation locally if your entry is promoted to the international level.
The following is a brief checklist of the entry process:
- Decide on your entry.
- Determine if your entry goes in the Technical Art, Technical Publications, or Online Communication competition. (See the “Categories for Competition” section.) Note: You may enter in more than one type of competition.
- Determine the category within the competition or competitions you selected. Note: you may enter in only one geographic area.
- Fill out entry forms.
- Package at least 3 copies of your entry, entry forms, and applicable fees and mail/ship.
Deadline
The deadline for the Montreal chapter competitions is October 17, 2008.
Fees
Fees for each entry, payable by check or money order, are as follows:
STC-Montreal Members $70
Non-members $85
Payment is to the Association of Technical Communication.
If a product is entered into more than one competition, the fee must be paid for each entry.
